What better way to start a new blog than to put my goals in writing.
First, my long term goal of course is to lose this next 50 lbs. With 80 down so far, I'm confident that with my lifestyle changes and time, I'll achieve this goal.
As for my short term goals, today is Memorial Day, and my next goal is to find my way to ONEderland. That's the elusive 'under 200' club. I've been so close for so long and will enjoy it even more since I've learned so much. I'd love to see this goal in the next week or two, but understand that you can't put a time frame on these things.
Most important are the daily/weekly goals. My daily goals are as follows:
-20 min. early morning workout with EA Active daily
-hit the Y for cardio a minimum of 3 days a week.
-when unable to get to the Y, ride bike, walk, do EA active, SOMETHING every day! Your body thanks you for this!
-water, water, water, and...more water!
-eat healthy, stay within cals, and aim for low sodium and high protein and strive to get those veggies in!
-work towards goals outside of health/weight, like organizing and decluttering.
This list is subject to change and be updated frequently, but it's a start!

It's a lifestyle!
You hear it and read it all the time when people talk about losing weight. I have to agree, it's true. I've been on my weight loss journey....this time...for a little over 2 years now. First, I did WW...for the third time, and then I discovered the ease (lol) of counting calories on my own. Well, I'm not on my own, I've got wonderful support at livestrong.com that helps me along the way.
While my weight loss has slowed in recent months, I've learned SO much that will keep me moving towards my goals of not only losing fat and improving my health, but it's laying the groundwork to maintain my goals once I've achieved them.
And guess what? Positive changes in one area of your life, roll over into other areas too. What a great bonus!
Stay tuned, for my many updates of my mission: ME!
